Movies are usually remembered for their impressive stories, characters, sounds, and places. But there is one factor that no one can ignore: the costumes. And the thing that caught my attention was the jewelry pieces worn by Cate Blanchett. Yesterday Sevan Bıçakçı's Instagram post confirmed my suspicions. In the post, he made an announcement by posting Cate's photo from the set of Ocean's 8.

This good look was styled by costume designer Meghan Kasperlik. Coincidentally enough, Cate also had met Sevan Bıçakçı at his workshop outside of the Grand Bazaar a couple of months prior to filming. When I look at the set stills and trailers, Cate Blanchett makes it convincingly look like those one-of-a-kind pieces designed especially for “Lou”.

I've been following Sevan, the famous Turkish jeweler of Armenian descent, since his Sultans collection. His extraordinary designs have become world-famous know, and rightfully so! Cate is not the only celebrity who worn his pieces before. The range goes from the royalties like Queen Elisabeth II to Whoopi Goldberg. 

The pieces worn by Cate Blanchett's character Lou in the movie include several bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. (See the slideshow below for a more detailed look at the pieces.)
